TARDA INTEGRATED COMMUNITY LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Overall Objective: To improve livelihoods of communities who depend on livestock keeping.
Expected outputs:
- Two (2) Abattoirs with processing capacity of 500 cattle and 600 small stock each established.
- Four (4) fodder production Centres with total capacity of 3000ha developed.
- Two (2) community herds’ breed improvement farms with a capacity of 1000 animals established.
- Four (4) livestock feed mills with a capacity of 5-10 tonnes of compound feeds per day constructed.
- 20 pastoralist livestock watering points established.
- Four (4) milk collection and bulking centers established.
- 100Ha of land conserved.
